Building Fund Capital Campaign - Committment weekend - May 6
Join us on Sunday, May 6 as we renew our pledge and many may establish a new three year commitment towards reducing the debt on our new building. Our church family has been blessed to worship in a beautiful sanctuary. May our response be reflective of our faith and thanksgiving to His Risen Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ! May the Lord bless the gifts and giving of His people! Thanks be to God!

Orientation to the Lutheran Confession - Starting Sunday, April 29, 9:00- 9:45
Pastor Matt is teaching a spring session for all visitors and interested members. If you would like to know more about the Lutheran expression of the Christian faith, please join the group! The class will last 5 weeks. Please sign up by contacting the office, Pastor Matt, or completing a visitor registration slip in the worship bulletin.

Please sign up on the kiosk to have your picture retaken for the 2012 Directory which will be published in late spring.
Faith-based artwork show - April 22 - May 20
Community of Christ will host an exhibition of two-dimensional liturgical, spiritual, or religious works from a variety of faiths. Entries are open to anyone from high school students to adults of all ages. Artists do not need to be Community of Christ members. Media may include drawing, painting, prints, photography, computer graphics, stained glass and fibers (banners, vestments, etc.) Click here for details on submitting art.
Affirmation of Holy Baptism—Sunday, May 20, 10:00 AM
We will rejoice with seventeen of our teenagers who will confirm their Christian faith at our 10:00 a.m. worship service on the seventh Sunday of our Easter season, May 20! May our Lord bless this step in the faith journey of our young people! Please join us in this celebration of the Holy Spirit and our life giving faith!
Memorial Day Remembrance -Weekend of May 26 & 27
We will honor our nation’s veterans and pray for the men and women serving in our military at our worship services. Please join us for patriotic hymns & prayers remembering those who have given their life for freedom.

Sign up on the kiosk, please use the envelopes for your ticket payment and place in the church office or in the offering plate.

You can either meet at church at 4:55pm or at the Spaghetti Warehouse at 5:30. When you sign up please indicate your plan. If you need a ride from
home that evening, let us know and we will pick you up.
Vacation Bible School - Operation Overboard! - June 25 - 29, 9:00 - 11:30 AM
Volunteers are also needed to plan, decorate, register, guide students to stations, leading or assisting at stations, and providing carpools. Check out the volunteer form at the back of the newsletter or contact Heidi Gillenwater.
2nd Annual Community of Christ Golf Outing - Saturday, July 14 at 8:00 AM
Golf outing at White Pines Golf Club in Swanton. Shot gun start at 8:00 AM. Cost is $47 per person and includes 18 holes of golf and cart, lunch and prizes.
