Pastor Matthew Lash received his Bachelor degree in Sociology and Social Work from Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan. Pastor earned his Master of Divinity in Parish Ministry from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio. He has served parishes in Ohio, Michigan, and Georgia. Pastor Matt is married to Marsha and they have two children, Matthew Ryan of Evans GA, and Jennifer who is completing her master’s degree at Gallaudet University, Washington, D.C. Pastor Matt has a passion for preaching the Gospel, leading worship and working with young people. Pastor and Marsha enjoy travelling and are avid fans of the Detroit Tigers.
Reverend Ron Heinz was born in Atkinson, Wisconsin. He moved to Tampa, Florida at age 14 and graduated from Hillsborough High School. Pastor Ron joined the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960 and graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA history and secondary education. He obtained his MBA from Jacksonville State University, Alabama. He worked in the U.S. Army Medical Department for 18 years, and then started a second career as a pastor after graduating from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio in 1990. Pastor Ron served Faith Lutheran Church, Tampa, Florida from 1990 to 2005, and then served as interim pastor at First Lutheran Church, New Port Richey, Florida. He also assisted teaching a Deacon class for two years at All Saints Lutheran Church, Lutz, Florida. Pastor Ron now serves as part time pastor at Community of Christ Lutheran Church after moving to the area in September 2008.
