Catechism is a two year study for 7th and 8th grade students. Topics covered include:

The Ten Commandments

Apostles' Creed

The Nicene Creed

The Lord's Prayer

Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion

Worship

The Bible (Old and New Testaments)

Martin Luther

Other disciplines during Catechism include sermon notes, service hours, and serving as acolyte, crucifer, or torchbearer. Social events help the students get to know each other and build friendships (see Junior High Youth page). Classes and bell practices are held Tuesdays : 7th grade 5:10 - 6:45 PM; 8th grade 4:45 - 6:00 PM.
