Funerals are celebrations of the resurrection. Most Community of Christ funeral services are held in the sanctuary, where members worship and where the rich resources of Christian hymnology and music are most accessible.  Holy Communion is a natural part of the funeral liturgy.

Funerals are also conducted for non-members and may take place either in the worship area or in the funeral home. 

The person to contact at the time of death is the pastor.  Please call the church office prior to making plans with a funeral home so that coordination of time, place, pastor and music can take place.

The church members can provide a funeral luncheon after the service.  Please talk to the church office for more details.
