Music Programs/Schedules

Adult Choir (high school youth and adults) - This vocal choir meets Wednesdays from 7:30 PM - 8:45 PM.  This ensemble of adult voices sings hymns and anthems in a variety of voicings and musical styles.  This choir assists in leading worship approximately two Sundays each month.

Bell Choir (7^thgrade through adults) - This choir meets Thursdays from 7:15 PM - 8:15 PM.  This handbell choir is for high school youth and adults who enjoy music and the fellowship of working together and leading worship.  They ring for worship services about once a month.  Beginning ringers are most welcome!

High School Bell Choir - This choir meets Tuesdays from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM.  This choir for High School-aged youth only focuses on handbell ringing techniques and working as a team to play various bell pieces.  It’s a great place to meet friends, advance your music skills and discover new ways to be a part of worship.  Music is played at various worship services throughout the year.

8th Grade Catechism Bell Choir - This choir meets Tuesdays from 5:40 PM - 6:00 PM (after class).  Team cooperation and learning beginning bell and percussion techniques are part of these choirs.  These choirs play about every six weeks. 

7th Grade Catechism Bell Choir - This choir meets Tuesdays from 5:10 PM - 5:30 PM (before class).  Team cooperation and learning beginning bell and percussion techniques are part of these choirs.  These choirs play about every six weeks. 

Youth Choir (third through sixth grades) - This choir sings, rings, and plays instruments on Tuesdays from 6:45 PM - 7:30 PM.  This choir is geared for youth in grades 3 - 6.  Musical skills and techniques are learned through singing, ringing handbells and playing rhythm instruments.  This active choir participates in worship about once a month and enjoys exploring the connection between music, worship and friendship. 

Kids of the Kingdom Choir (four-year-olds through second grade) - This vocal choir meets Wednesdays from 6:45 PM - 7:15 PM.  This is our children’s choir for boys and girls age 4 through second grade who want to sing and learn about music and the love of God.  This choir sings approximately once a month in one of the worship services.

Other Music Opportunities - Community of Christ Lutheran Church has many ways in which to involve those with special gifts in music.  Whether your gift is vocal or instrumental, whether you prefer to be a part of an ensemble or provide solo music or instrumental parts for the hymns or choir anthems, there are many times throughout the year in which there is an opportunity for you to share your gifts and talents.  If you have any questions about any of our choirs please contact our Music Director, Pam Davis.
